Safety/Quality Manager

Role Overview

The Location Safety & Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring the working conditions of the entire facility to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. They will enforce health and safety guidelines, inspect workspaces and products, and provide workplace safety training. Additionally, they will develop and implement quality assurance policies and systems, monitor quality assurance processes, and ensure quality standards are met.

What You Will Do

The Safety/Quality Manager will execute and implement the administration of the facility's quality assurance/controls policies and practices. They will assess the quality of material delivered by vendors, manage corrective action programs, and serve as management's representative for quality and environmental reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Quality Management, and/or Masters of Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 -7 years of related experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in a manufacturing/industrial plant
• Multi-plant experience is required
• OSHA certification is required
• Previous work experience in health and safety field is preferred
