Safety/Quality Coordinator

Role Overview

The Safety/Quality Coordinator provides quality control and safety oversight to ensure products and facility operations meet all production, quality, and regulatory standards. Conducts inspections, testing, and measurements of materials and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

What You Will Do

Performs accurate mechanical and physical inspections of in-coming material, in-process parts and finished products. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; approves finished products. Reports and tracks any deviations from quality standards and recommends corrective action to appropriate personnel and upper management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• OSHA certification
• Reliance Steel and Aluminum Reasonable Suspicion Training
• 3-5 years of Quality Control experience
• Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and tolerance specifications
