Metergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Platform & Innovation Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role partners with cross-functional teams to modernize infrastructure, automate processes, and support business transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or related technical roles.
- University degree from a recognized institution or equivalent formal education, with relevant IT technical and project management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud computing (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google), Microsoft 365 (MS Excel, MS Project), Google Workspace, Microsoft DevOps, and networking concepts.
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing or delivering IT services within outsourced and managed services environments.
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture, Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure management.
- Strong automation and scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI) for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks (CIS, SOC, NIST) and experience implementing security controls in cloud and on-premise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, integrate, and operationalize new technologies.
- Experience with networking, virtualization, storage, and identity management (Active Directory, IAM).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
