Job Description
This Senior Buyer position focuses on sourcing and procurement functions to secure materials, services, and tools. Responsibilities include price negotiation, vendor management, analyzing bids, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records. The role will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient and compliant contract execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree
- More than five years of purchasing experience (may be sufficient without a degree)
- At least three years purchasing experience in a manufacturing/facility environment
- Experience with Electronic Purchasing System
- Strong team development and ability to support other departments
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Ability to lift & move more than 20 pounds
