The Laboratory Analyst I conducts accurate and timely analyses of environmental samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving the company’s mission to promote environmental health and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting preferred, but recent graduates with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods, laboratory practices, and measuring equipment
- Proficiency using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and testing standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to identify and resolve problems, gather and analyze information, and meet time-sensitive productivity standards
- Professional communication skills, including: reading and interpreting written information; writing clearly and legibly, such as when preparing forms/logs/reports; listening to understand directives, feedback, or complex issues; speaking clearly and persuasively to share information, confirm details, and ask follow-up questions
