Streetlight Utility Designer

Metro Engineering Solutions, LLC is looking for a Streetlight Utility Designer to provide utility design services and solutions for power distribution systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical utility planning, streetlighting design, and photometric analysis.

Requirements

• High School diploma and/or equivalent with satisfactory completion of high school courses in drafting/CAD, basic electricity, physics, and mathematics
• Associates degree in technical or design field preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in electrical utility planning role
• Experience performing streetlighting design and photometric analysis preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D; experience with ESRI, Arc-GIS, and MicroStation preferred
• Experience with AGi32 software is preferred
• Experience with all phases of engineering document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications preferred
