Job Description
The Senior Legal Counsel (Labor & Employment) provides legal representation and counsel to the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, TX (METRO) in the areas of labor and employment law and litigation. The position involves providing primary managerial direction, representing METRO in litigation, arbitration, and other administrative hearings, and developing policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctorate of Jurisprudence from an accredited school of law
- Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in the practice of employment and labor law
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas required
- Board certification in Labor & Employment Law is a plus
