Job Description
Join Metronet, one of the nation’s fastest-growing fiber-optic powerhouses, as an OSP Field Supervisor. The role involves ensuring construction is built safely and to the required standards and specifications, and responding quickly to neighborhood complaints.
Requirements
- Maintain understanding of specifications and standard practices
- Conduct walkouts and inspects aerial fiber cable placement
- Approve all unitized completed aerial work
- Manage the OSP Construction Tracker
- Monitor the approved budget for each work order
- Respond to utility strikes
- Conduct a weekly audit for each contractor
- Identify contractor training needs
- Ensure aerial line contractors have a weekly safety and communications tailgate meeting
