Job Description
Metropolis is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead their Corporate Accounting team, overseeing day-to-day operations, driving closing processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong technical accounting skills and a passion for mentorship and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros)
- Experience working with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
