Job Description
Metrobank is seeking a Application Security Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on developing and enforcing security plans and standards, preparing for and implementing application security strategies, and providing support to the Security Architect and Security teams. The engineer will also manage the security tools and ensure effective incident detection and prevention.
Requirements
- Graduate of Computer Science or Information Security
- Extensive knowledge of secure coding principles and OWASP Top 10
- Experience with designing/architecting CI/CD pipeline
- Relevant certifications (SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, GWAPT, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in application security
- Analytical and risk identification skills
- Strong scripting and programming skills
- Good communication and project management skills
- Self-starter, result-oriented and good teamwork skills
