Job Description
Metropolitan Family Service is seeking an Activity Leader to lead fun and engaging classes for elementary-age children in various subjects, including arts & crafts, sports, academic enrichment, and STEM. The position is temporary, part-time, and requires experience working with groups of children and creating lesson plans.
Requirements
- Experience in teaching children and creating lesson plans
- Ability to work with groups of elementary-age children and strong behavior management
- Excellent organization skills and interpersonal communication skills
- A cooperative manner and the ability to work as part of a team
- Basic English proficiency is required (must be able to read, write and speak English)
- Spanish speaking skills are a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally able to work in the United States (documentation will be required for I-9 form)
- All employees must submit a criminal background check
