Intern Human Resources

Metropolitan Family Services is seeking a Student Intern to support its Human Resources Team at its Headquarters office. The internship is unpaid and requires enrollment in a college/university and internship hours for graduation or completion of a course. The intern will assist with HR-related tasks, including onboarding, document management, and training material development.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or Master's degree student majoring in applied psychology or human resources.
• Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Effective time management skills and the ability to complete given tasks
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Be proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use good judgment, work well under pressure, adapt to change, and work collaboratively with individuals from all culturally diverse backgrounds
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, team and goal-oriented individual with the ability to drive results
