Assistant Professor of Nursing

The Department of Nursing at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will support the department's mission by contributing to high-quality teaching, student engagement, and curriculum development. The role includes teaching 24 credit hours per academic year, scholarly activities, and service to the department, university, and broader community.

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing education program
• Valid unencumbered RN license to practice in Colorado or ability to obtain by hiring date in August 2026
• A minimum of two (2) years of full-time (or equivalent) clinical experience in professional nursing
• Documented one year experience in the area of instruction
