Job Description
The Department of Economics at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions to teach 3 - 9 credit hours and work with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities include teaching, preparing course materials, grading student work, and providing academic support. A background in economics or a related field and teaching experience is required.
Requirements
- M.A. or M.S. in Economics, Applied Economics, Agri-Econ Economics, or a related field within the last 6 years
- Meet College of Business Faculty Qualifications Policy criteria to be classified as SA, PA, or IP
- ABD or Ph.D. within the last 6 years with record of at least one publication in a journal listed in ABDC or Cabell's (less than 50%), or a refereed book chapter and at least one conference presentation
