Lecturer of Art Education

The Department of Art at Metropolitan State University (MSU Denver) invites applications for a non tenure-track Lecturer position in Art Education beginning Fall 2026. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment with the potential to be renewed on a year-to-year basis. The faculty position is focused on teaching courses in art education, foundations, studio art, and advising and supervising student teachers.

Requirements

• Teach 24 credits of art education, foundations, and studio art courses
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate student teachers in K–12 settings
• Plan and deliver theoretical instruction as well as field-based or studio-based experiences aligned with the program’s mission, objectives, and curriculum
