Storage Solutions Architect

MetroSys seeks a highly experienced Storage Solutions Architect to lead enterprise-scale data migration and storage modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and technical leader who can engage at the executive and engineering levels, architect end-to-end solutions, and successfully deliver large-scale migration projects with minimal risk and disruption.

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise storage engineering, consulting, or architecture experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale storage or data migration projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in NAS technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale, Unity, PowerStore, etc.).
• Deep understanding of file protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS) and unstructured data management.
• Solid knowledge of SAN environments, including zoning, multipathing, and host/storage integration.
• Experience designing and implementing multi-vendor storage solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in client-facing, advisory, or consulting roles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
