Sales Account Manager

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Arlington team. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for handling a high volume of telephone calls, sourcing new sales opportunities, and maintaining professional relations with customers.

Requirements

• Prior automotive parts knowledge and previous sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to communicate on the phone 90 percent or more of shift.
• Ability to understand customer's current needs and anticipate future customer requirements.
• Ability to give special attention to detail required.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Planning/organizing and follow up skills — the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans and follows up to ensure compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows preferred.
• Excellent negotiating abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
