Housekeeper

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces in the hotel, as well as assisting in the laundry department and maintaining a 'can do' and 'guest first' attitude.

Requirements

• Attend all training sessions
• Arrive on time for shifts
• Follow established uniform guidelines
• Practice efficient and effective procedures
• Work as a member of the hotel team to exceed guest expectations
• Maintain a 'can do' and 'guest first' attitude
• Report maintenance repairs to maintenance staff
• Pick up assignment and room keys daily
• Complete and return checklists at the conclusion of each shift
• Properly stock housekeeping carts and closets
• Abide by guidelines for use of cleaning towels and gloves
• Inspect rooms for bed bugs and other unwanted pests
• Report lost and found items as appropriate
• Be mindful of excessive noise in guest room space
• Assist in cleaning public areas of the hotel
• Deposit trash as necessary
• Monitor activity in guest hallways for suspicious behavior
• Maintain personal contact with customers
• Coordinate with housekeeping supervisor to meet guest special requests
