Maintenance Engineer Salary

Meyer Jabara Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding guest expectations for working order of mechanical systems. The successful candidate will maintain a safe and working environment throughout the hotel, enforce safety guidelines, and build awareness about safety.

Requirements

• Two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing
• A minimum of three years experience in a building maintenance department, including one year in a supervisory capacity
• Journeyman’s accomplishment in one of the trades
• Specialized technical crafts: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
• Ability to train and lead others
• Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions, communicate both verbally and in writing, utilize analytical thought processes, understand verbal/written technical and mechanical instruction, and be highly organized
