Job Description
The Head of Security and Safety is the most senior member of management responsible for MFAH's security and safety function, overseeing a team of 159 staff, budget of $7 million, and 24/7 operations across a 14-acre campus and multiple separate museum properties.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in managing security and safety functions
- 10 years related to safety and security
- 5 years managing large teams
- Strong educational background (MA in management or BA with professional experience)
- Fiscal year budgeting & planning, personnel management, payroll oversight, scheduling, contract management, event planning and strategic people management
