Job Description
MGE Underground is a growing utility infrastructure contractor seeking a Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain company-owned vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in heavy-duty equipment service and repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and gas/diesel problems
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs of company-owned vehicles and equipment
- Assist with audits, inspections, and general upkeep of the shop
- Coach and mentor entry-level Mechanics
- Oversee daily work and performance
- Inspect installations and repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems for repair
