Job Description

We're seeking a Strategic Investment Analyst to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves evaluating MGIC's ceded and assumed reinsurances strategies, delivering analytical insights that guide strategic decision-making. The position is based in Milwaukee, WI, with a hybrid environment (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Requirements
- Experience: Requires a masterās degree in finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Economics or a related field and one year of experience working with internal and external financial models and data sources to provide financial investment analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Detail oriented
- Ability to grasp complex financial, capital and risk concepts
- Proficiency with statistical languages (R, Python, SAS, SQL etc.)
- Effective communicator, able to explain analytic concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to quickly adjust to new tasks and changing priorities
