The Experienced/Senior Consultant is responsible for delivering advisory projects, including assisting in interviews and walkthroughs, performing testing or analysis, and drafting reports. The role primarily serves state & local government and public sector entities.
Requirements
- BS/BA or Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Accounting or Public Affairs/Administration)
- Minimum of 1.5 years of work experience in public accounting in the public sector specializing in audit, internal audit or related internal control positions.
- Relevant certification preferred but not required (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.)
- Proficiency in professional writing, spreadsheets and presentation creation tools.
- Ability to travel to meet client needs and work collaboratively with others in person and remotely.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
