Mechanical Engineer (Building Design)

Michael Baker International is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating complex mechanical HVAC and piping system design drawings and leading mechanical engineering design efforts on multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering-Mechanical Option (ABET Accredited)
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in private and/or public sector construction industry
• U.S. Citizen
• Solid experience with applicable software including Revit, AutoCAD, and Trane Trace
• Proficient computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience engineering both HVAC and plumbing systems (plus)
• Knowledge of the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Unified Facilities Guided Specifications (UFGS) (plus)
• LEED accreditation (plus)
