Railroad Coordination Specialist

Michael Baker International is seeking a Railroad Coordination Specialist to provide technical support, plan review, and active outreach and coordination for design and construction projects on behalf of Michael Baker and our clients to railroad partners. The ideal candidate will be located in Chicago, Cleveland, Moon Township, or Harrisburg, with consideration for remote locations for exceptional candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience on relevant projects
• PE license with NCEES record a plus
• Project experience with public agencies and familiarity with roadway, bridge, and drainage standards desired
• Project experience with Class I Railroads and familiarity with AREMA standards desired
• Ability to travel to other office and job site locations as needed
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications
• Experience in servicing multiple projects concurrently
• Possess client and stakeholder management skills and ability to enhance and develop solid client relationships
• Ability to lead a team
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
• Strong work ethic and integrity
