Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to analyze design criteria, prepare calculations, and lead a team of engineers on large projects. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience, a Master's degree, and proficiency in various software programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural, Architectural or Civil Engineering
- 12+ years of experience in structural engineering
- Masters degree may substitute 1-2 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure
- Proficiency with RAM SS, RISA 3D, Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, Revit, Enercalc, Microsoft Excel, MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with structural design codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ASCE 41, AISC, TMS, and ACI
- Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria and UFGS
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Maintain professional licensure in state which employee resides
- Available for periodic travel
