Part Time Party & Event Host

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events within a Michaels store, including kids birthday parties. Provide friendly customer service, and complete operational tasks as needed. Deliver a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for guests.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc.
• Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
• Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customer on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
