Party & Event Host

Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events at a Michaels store, providing a stress-free and fun experience for guests. Deliver friendly customer service and complete operational tasks as needed. The Party & Event Host will also create a fun and creative environment for clients of all ages, engage with them, and facilitate party add-ons according to company standards.

Requirements

• Plan and coordinate multiple events at once
• Engage with clients of all ages
• Demonstrate and instruct party participants
• Facilitate and implement party add-ons
• Communicate events with clients and store team members
• Complete administrative tasks
• Adjust plans and events based on client feedback
• Create backup or emergency plans
• Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards
• Help customers shop and locate products
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes
• Participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
• Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs
