Sr Demand Planner

Support Center - IrvingSenior Demand Planner responsible for developing and executing demand plans to enable the company to achieve sales, gross margin, and inventory goals.

Requirements

• Own multi-level demand forecasts using statistical forecast models in the Blue Yonder (JDA) system
• Analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and space changes to build robust Peak Season forecasts
• Create demand forecasts to ensure proper inventory levels to drive promotional events and inventory in-stocks after event
• Lead cross-functional team at monthly forecast alignment meetings and present out to leadership
• Evolve and maintain documentation and SOP for demand planning processes and systems
• Lead cross-functional teams to refine the forecast model based on updated sales and pricing assumptions
• Collaborate with Product and Pricing teams to incorporate strategic changes within the business to inform the forecast
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain current and accurate information to use for demand forecasts
• Share insight with planning and fulfillment teams on key trend shifts
• Own the training and development of new Demand Planners
• Lead the team in trouble shooting system and business problems as the Subject Matter Expert
• Partner with Technology Team to solve problems and guide system enhancements
• Partner with fulfillment team to address and resolve inventory issues
