Maintenance

Michigan Brick is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Corunna, MI. Responsibilities include ensuring necessary repairs and preventative maintenance work requests are carried out, repairing equipment and fabricating parts, participating in health & safety and environmental programs, and improving machinery durability and process efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years industrial environment experience preferred
• Millwright certification preferred
• Welding certification preferred
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven record of teamwork & leadership skills
• Use of both arms, hands, legs, and feet are required
• Must not be hearing or sight impaired
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical conveying systems and basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
