Job Description
Micron Technology is seeking an Environmental Engineer to develop, implement, and improve environmental programs and procedures to maintain compliance with regulations and permits. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental/Civil, or Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of experience in the field.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and continually improve environmental programs and procedures
- Supervise changes to the site's environmental management system
- Conduct detailed tasks and analyze processes & assess risk
- Present environmental matters to leadership and regulatory agencies
- Complete internal auditor training and assist in EHS management system internal audits
- Coordinate, lead and conduct environmental walkthroughs, inspections, and audits
- Perform incident and event follow-up and investigation
- Collect, evaluate, and communicate environmental-related metrics and performance measurements
- Provide customer support and technical expertise for environmental issues
