Job Description
The Facilities Automation Engineer will oversee the end-to-end design, execution, and commissioning of advanced warehouse automation projects, with a focus on SCADA and DCS systems, ASRS, AGVs, and automated material handling systems.
Requirements
- Lead automation projects from concept design through commissioning, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop system architecture, control philosophy, and functional design documents for ASRS, AGVs, and automated material handling systems.
- Configure, integrate, and maintain SCADA and DCS systems for real-time monitoring and process optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues involving PLCs, communication networks, and motion control systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, throughput, and energy efficiency.
