Fire Alarm Technician

As a Fire Alarm Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all fire alarm systems on campus. This includes the front end, network, initiation devices, horns and strobes, and all field devices. Your role will involve performing preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, coordinating work activities performed by contractors, and ensuring compliance with NFPA-required testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in fire alarm installation and repair
• Flexible to work four 10-hour shifts per week with varying hours
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours, walk 1–5 miles per shift, bend, crouch, kneel, climb ladders, and work with arms raised
