Job Description
As a Principal Category Supplier Manager, you will join our team in Indirect Procurement at Micron that manages the global IT and Professional Services at one of the world's largest semiconductor companies. You will collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers, source solutions and services, develop category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and run Micron’s relationship with key suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Business, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics or similar fields of study.
- 5+ years' experience in a role focused full-time on procurement or contract negotiation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic environment that requires a high degree of multitasking with minimal direction.
