SR DATA SCIENTIST SMART MFG & AI

Micron Technology is seeking a Sr Data Scientist to employ techniques and theories to uncover patterns in data from which predictive models, actionable insights, and solutions can be developed. The successful candidate will help develop software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources.

Requirements

• B.S./M.S. degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering field
• At least 3 years of experience in data science in engineering or related industry
• Strong skills in Python and at least one machine learning framework (like PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques
• Excellent communication skills for explaining models, assumptions, and results to non-technical stakeholders
