Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in waste treatment engineering, with at least 2 years overseeing third-party design or managing design processes for wastewater, chemical, or solid waste treatment systems.
- Strong knowledge of waste treatment system design, including chemical neutralization, biological treatment, filtration, and hazardous waste disposal for industrial applications.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as EPA’s RCRA, Clean Water Act, SEMI S2, and local environmental codes.
- Proficiency in reviewing engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, 3D models, and specifications, using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
- Excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with external design firms, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and quality in third-party designs.
- Experience with control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and BIM workflows for design coordination is highly desirable.
