Data Scientist

The Azure Edge Networking Team is growing and we’re looking for a creative results-driven Data Scientist who can help build the next generation of Internet Traffic Control system by combining Data Science principles with software development in the networking domain.

Requirements

• Msc/PHD Degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience formulating a roadmap of project activity that leads to measurable improvement in business performance metrics over time.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab or R, with experience in data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, NumPy).
• Expertise in OR tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP, or similar solvers.
• Experience developing and deploying optimization or simulation models in production environments.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
