Lead Process Engineer

Designs, develops, maintains and improves manufacturing process and procedures while supporting or leading production for Lead Attach, Trim & form and RHSD. Develops and maintains automation equipment documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (or Engineering Technology) field
• 7-10 years experience
• Knowledge and experience in Lead Attach and Trim & form manufacturing process
• Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) experience
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing automation
• Understanding of machine design, simple electrical design, and common manufacturing practices
• Good knowledge across software, controls, robotics, mechanical and electrical engineering
• Familiarity with Robot Hot Soldering Dip
• Familiarity with CAD and CAE software
• Strong interpersonal skills capable of working among many disciplines
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
