Principal Engineer, Electrical (R&D)

Role Overview

As a technical leader, responsible for leading the development of robust electrical engineering designs and working as part of a multifunctional group to develop electromechanical medical devices.

What You Will Do

Work in cross functional teams to identify customer needs and develop systems to meet these needs, own the development of electrical/hardware design for electromechanical products, and debug analog, power, and communications related issues of systems.

Why It Might Be a Fit

May be required to guide, mentor, and supervise assemblers, technicians, and engineers, and develop and maintain vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in medical devices
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design, and testing
• Experience with regulatory requirements for medical devices with electronics
