Cost Accounting Manager

Midsouth Steel is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. This full-time salaried position offers tremendous growth opportunity and is responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing costs, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting roles
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Vista Viewpoint.
• Proven track record in financial planning and analysis, project cost accounting, project cash flow management.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with construction accounting principles and practices. Familiarity with the steel industry, accounting principles and practices
