Job Description
The Emergency Room Physician provider provides emergency room services within the scope of practice, adhering to treatment guidelines and hospital policies. This role emphasizes professional conduct, collaboration, and communication with patients, families, and staff, alongside ongoing performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Licensed in the state of Washington as a physician.
- Unrestrained DEA license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine (with greater than 2 years of ED experience).
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Department as a provider.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to delegate and coordinate skills.
- Must be willing to work any shift in emergencies.
- Willingness to work any day of the week.
- Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Physical ability to work emergency situations.
- Exposure to bio-hazardous agents and potential infectious agents (high risk).
