Provides safety and security services to the campus community, including implementing and administering programs to maintain order and improve personal safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma. Post-secondary education preferred.
- Previous experience in higher education, institutional safety and security or law enforcement is desirable.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete specialized on-the-job training required.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass College-administered driving test required.
- Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional long shifts.
- Must have proficiency in conflict resolution and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion and pass extensive investigative background check.
