Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”) Clinician

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Medication Assisted Treatment (“MAT”) Clinician. The MAT Clinician will provide treatment and support to assist patients in their recovery from addiction.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work
• Minimum of one year of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and execute close attention to detail
• Strong written, communication, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain comprehensive and cohesive records
• Massachusetts resident
• Active valid driver’s license and the right to legally operate a motor vehicle in Massachusetts
• Pass a criminal background check
