Senior Software Engineer, Platform Engineering

Midi Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build core services, developer productivity tooling, and cloud infrastructure for their virtual care clinic. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in production services and/or infrastructure at scale, strong coding skills, and experience with modern platform tooling.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production services and/or infrastructure at scale
• Strong hands-on coding skills (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar)
• Seasoned at system design: deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, data modeling, networking, storage, and cloud primitives (AWS/GCP)
• Fluent with modern platform tooling: Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes or equivalent, observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), CI/CD
• Product mindset toward internal users
• Solid command of AI coding tools and comfortable adopting team workflows
• Good mentorship instincts
• Strong communicator
• Low-ego, curious, humble
