Job Description
Midi Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical direction of their platform, setting the direction for core services, developer productivity tooling, and platform engineering. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in building production services and/or infrastructure at scale, with a strong background in AI-native engineering, low-ego, and high-curiosity.
Requirements
- Set technical direction for core platform services and developer productivity tooling
- Lead high-impact, cross-cutting initiatives across cloud infrastructure, data infrastructure, and reliability practices
- Define and enforce the security and compliance foundations for a HIPAA environment
- Treat product engineers as customers; raise the bar on developer experience across the org
- Partner with engineering leadership on capacity, hiring, and platform roadmap
- Mentor platform and product engineers; grow the platform competency across the org
- Lead how platform engineering leverages AI tooling
