Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily tasks and operations of the accounting department, including monitoring, controlling, and analyzing accounting data, budgets, and financial statements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in distribution companies or consumer electronics industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE local regulations, VAT, and compliance requirements, with strong IFRS expertise.
• Experience working with or within major retail or telecom environments is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with warranty accounting and related processes.
• Hands-on experience with financial closings, financial statements preparation, cash flow management, and management reporting.
• Strong operational accounting background covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Comfortable handling VAT filings, regulatory reporting, and audit coordination.
