Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments
• Highly proficient in Python (or another backend language and excited to work in Python)
• Designed and maintained scalable RESTful APIs
• Strong experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
• Worked with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) in live systems
• Understands distributed systems, performance, and scalability challenges
• Writes clean, well-tested, maintainable code
• Thrives in high-ownership, fast-moving teams and communicates clearly across functions
