Senior Equipment Engineer

Midrex is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for specifying, designing, troubleshooting, and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation of Midrex proprietary equipment. The role involves supervisory responsibilities, technical support, and travel to fabrication facilities and plant sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or other Mechanical/Materials based Engineering discipline Degree
• Minimum 10 years experience in an industrial or technical environment, preferably related to the steel industry
• Advanced computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
• Basic use of Autodesk products or equivalent software
• Excellent base of mechanical engineering technical skills, knowledge of processes, and the application of sound engineering practices
