Job Description
An optician counsels patients through the eyewear selection process, educating them on doctor recommendations and creating a fun shopping environment. The optician utilizes creative design skills in the creation and maintenance of displays of optical merchandise and inventory. Strong administrative skills are also required in completing tasks such as calculating co-pays and reviewing insurance eligibility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in opticianry or related field
- Ability to communicate and provide superior customer service
