Job Description
We are looking for a Devops Engineer to help accelerate our platform migration to AWS ECS using Terraform, GitHub Actions and Datadog. The successful candidate will have experience in senior AWS platform/DevOps engineering role and strong knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Datadog and Terraform.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a senior AWS platform/DevOps engineering role
- Experience designing AWS multi-region, highly available architectures
- Strong Kubernetes experience, particularly with AWS ECS
- Strong experience working with AWS ECS docker migrations
- Experience implementing and managing Datadog observability
- Strong AWS knowledge across compute, database and security services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Solid understanding of container security and best practices
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience working in regulated environments (PCI-DSS preferred)
- Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills
- Ability to work on projects with multiple workstreams and competing deadlines
